Magic the Gathering card game is one of my current obsession right now.
Karla Ortiz, Zoe Robinson and Julie Bell are so rad, so I decided to wipe away my fear and hatred of digital painting and enrolled in
Noah Bradley's Art Camp. Noah's art is soo amazing, I got a card or two with his art on it. I feel like this is the coolest entrance to paint digitally, without leaving the traditional feel. Because I'm tired of being told that I should consider doing children book or young-adult theme book illustration ALL THE TIME, while I favor futuristic, sci-fi themed arts.
Here's my first attempt in digital drawing, I am doing one of
Albert Bierstadt's painting Sunrise on the Moon:
and this is the usual graphite drawing, an approach to mist effect.
