This is my tribute to beloved Madiba. I have never thought deeply about his insights, until my ever-changing trip to South Africa back in 2010.
This drawing, especially the one with boxing gloves, took me a couple of months to finished (you can go to my instagram to see the moment I finished the portrait months ago). I hesitated to go bold on it, went back and forth, and finally came out in South African flag color scheme.
